When you want wisdom and insight as badly as you want to breathe, it is then you shall have it.

About Dawn
Welcome! Let me tell you a little about myself, to help you decide if I might be the right professional to support you. I work mainly with individuals – adults and adolescents who are experiencing challenges related to life transitions. These transitions often occur because of a break-up in a relationship, separation, divorce, grief and loss, career changes, fearful experiences, phase of life issues, or conflict in an important relationship. Whether you’re feeling alone, confused, stuck, or at a crossroads in your life, I provide a safe, supportive environment for well-being and healthy decision-making to emerge.
My passion for psychology began in high school when I took an Advanced Placement Course in Psychology. Upon graduating I studied Child Development, then earned a certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling. For some time, I ran a process group at a women’s recovery home. During that time, I observed the prevalence of relapse in recovery, and I realized a deeper work is needed in order to heal the roots of addiction. This experience led me to the advanced training as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I am now a licensed psychotherapist in private practice. My focus is to help you cultivate the freedom to be happy and creatively express yourself.
